Recognised worldwide and originally crafted for the Norwegian military, they stand among the most iconic military boots ever made — trusted for their durability, strength, and reliability in extreme conditions.
Made from premium 2.8–3 mm full-grain leather, these boots deliver exceptional toughness and long-lasting performance. The winter edition features a warm white faux-fur lining that provides outstanding insulation in freezing temperatures, making them perfect for long days outdoors.
The M77 has earned its reputation through real use by the Norwegian army and NATO forces. Every detail is built for endurance: the thick leather, robust construction, and high-quality anatomical insole that is shock-absorbing, breathable, antibacterial, and fully washable.
With proper care, these are boots that can outlast the competition for years. They may feel firm during the first wear — as all true full-leather boots do — but once broken in, they mold perfectly to your feet, delivering unmatched comfort and stability. Unit price perChallenge the unknown with our legendary M77 aka Norwegian Combat Boots. Dominate any terrain with these durable boots that will keep you going on your adventures. Don't let anything hold you back; take the risk and conquer your goals in style with these legendary boots!
M77 aka Norwegian Combat Boots are one of the best-known military boots in the world and are also our top bestseller. They are so legendary that they are even mentioned on the Wiki page of combat boots. It's probably not a big surprise that the Norwegian media recently featured the story of a former soldier who tattooed the M77 boots on his hand. Additionally, tech speaker and creator Morten Rand-Hendriksen reviewed the M77 boots on TikTok, attracting more than 400k views. He even calls them "the best pair of boots you’ll ever buy."
The first version of the M77s was delivered more than 50 years ago to the Norwegian military, and several NATO armies also trust the M77 today, including the Norwegian forces. It took ten years to develop the M77 leather boots, as the Norwegian army had stringent requirements for boot resistance, comfort, gravity, and moisture resistance. Furthermore, it was essential that these boots were easy to maintain. The result is no-nonsense, comfortable, breathable, and water-repellent boots made only of thick 2.8-3 mm full-grain leather, steel, and polyurethane. The anatomical insole is shockproof, antibacterial, breathable, and washable.
Most importantly, they are durable. Just keep the boots well-greased. As with full leather boots, it may take some time to wear them in, but once they are broken in, they are as good as it gets. These leather boots are unisex and designed for both men and women. The sizes run large, intended to be worn with thermal or even double socks. If you plan to wear them in freezing winters, we recommend our inner socks that are made specifically for the M77. In conclusion, they are probably one of the best value-for-money boots in the world, but we understand they are not for everyone
